We match you and your values with qualified caregivers across the DC Metro Area.

We know firsthand how intimidating it can be to find the perfect caregiver for your family. That’s why we’ve designed our nanny search to be easy and effective. Your time is valuable and we want to help you make the most of it with our seamless process.

How our process works

Once you submit your application, we’ll reach out to schedule a meeting with you! This is our chance to learn more about you and explore what matters most to you when it comes to matching you with ideal candidates. We’ll work together to develop a family profile and job description so we can present you with potential interviewees who fit your unique needs.

All of our nanny candidates are vetted through an online application, interview process, background checks and reference checks. Coast to Coast Nannies believes in getting to know both the families and nannies we serve to ensure a perfect match. We’ll work diligently to find the best candidates so no time is wasted and your specific needs are met

After we’ve made some potential matches, we’ll send you profiles to review.

These profiles include resumes, letters of recommendation, and interview notes. We’ll set up in-person interviews for clients that interest you and help you schedule a trial day to explore how working together feels! If you wish to offer a position to a candidate, we’ll help you develop an offer letter and work agreement! From start to finish, we’ll work alongside you to find the best fit for your family.

Full-Time Nanny

Our full-time live out nannies work 40-50+ hours per week. Duties include meeting your child's physical, emotional, and developmental needs as well as basic child-related household tasks (laundry, cleaning toys, washing bottles and kids' dishes).

Part Time Nanny

A part time nanny works between 30-35 hours per week. Common part time positions are 2 or 3 full days or Monday through Friday just mornings or just afternoons. We ask that a family can guarantee at least 30 hours per week in order to be able to find the most qualified candidates for your search.

Nanny Share

A nanny share is when two families, usually with similarly aged children, hire one nanny for shared care. This can be done full-time in one home or on a weekly/biweekly household rotation. We are experienced in helping our nanny share families lay the groundwork for long-term success.

Baby Nurse/Night Nanny

This type of nanny is typically available for your family during the first few months of your baby's life. Night Nannies usually come in around 9pm and stay until 7am, focusing on overnight feedings, sleep schedules, and allowing parents to get a full night's sleep.

Household Manager

Household managers are employed to make your home/business run flawlessly. Services include managing other household staff, scheduling maintenance for home and vehicles, organizing home, grocery shopping, errands, travel arrangements, packing, paying bills, and much more. Household management positions can be a Nanny/Manager hybrid.

Temporary Nanny

A temporary nanny is available for a predetermined amount of time (typically 3 months or less, depending on family's circumstances). We also have as-needed care if your nanny is out for the day or you are in a bind with childcare. Please contact us directly to learn more.

Let’s find you the perfect fit.
